JOIN US FOR WORSHIP
We can’t wait to meet you and your family!
Sunday Schedule
9am Fellowship & Devotional
Our Devotional hour is a great way to get connected at Sawnee Ridge. Each Sunday, we meet to study God’s Word and how it applies to our lives. Grab a cup of coffee in the foyer, and join us for a short devotional before worship.
Every Sunday we celebrate what God has done through enthusiastic worship and a relevant sermon. Together, we sing both modern Christian songs and hymns of faith, and are led by a choir and local artists.

About Our Church
-
In 2022, we were excited about the launch of the Global Methodist Church and felt the pull to bring a new Global Methodist Church to Forsyth County with a focus on the North Cumming area. In late 2022, the discussions turned into meetings about planting a church, and then, in January 2023, Sawnee Ridge Church was formed.
Our commitment from the start is to be a church that welcomes everyone, focuses on learning and sharing the scriptures, and strives to enhance our members’ and guests’ relationships with God and with each other. We would love for you to come be a part of our church.
Sawnee Ridge Churches mission is: “To love the Lord God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our Mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.” These are the two most important commandments as told to us by Jesus, and we are committing ourselves to follow them as best we can.
We take our name from the small ridge of mountains just north of Cumming, Georgia. We felt the name grounded us in the heritage, beauty, and vitality of this area.

The Mission of the Global Methodist Church is “to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.”
The Global Methodist Church, or GMC for short, has an orthodox doctrine deeply rooted in scripture and traditional Methodist beliefs. GMC embraces the call to stay true to the scriptures.
The GMC places an emphasis on the local church as the “front line of ministry” as it is the local church and congregation which provides for the spiritual needs of the individuals in the congregation, supports building deeper relationships with God, and encourages outreach and ministry to the community. GMC’s lean organizational structure and the combination of support and autonomy which they provide churches enhances and enables this emphasis on the local church.
